Art is created and later appreciated by the viewer. When it first started out, it might have looked like a sketch or something crude, that is compared to what it later developed into. That's like saying cursive writing started from print...duh. So to reiterate, Tags or sketches (something crude) are ugly, Graffiti or the finished product (something that took a little more time and effort) is beautiful. But like I said...that's just my opinion. Tony, Graffiti didn’t become art over night. Art is created and later appreciated by the viewer.
